Promoting Vessel Health and Preservation Through Vein Visualization

The use of vascular visualization technology is recommended to increase insertion success of the most appropriate vessel while reducing insertion-related complications, thereby promoting vessel health, and preserving the patient’s vasculature.  Based upon the INS 2021 Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice, this 2-day virtual program will provide attendees with guidance regarding the use of vascular visualization technology.  Expert led sessions will include how to use vascular visualization technology to increase vascular access device insertion success and to reduce insertion-related complications; develop structured education programs to promote clinician assuredness; and promote successful phlebotomy procedures.
