Kaylee Lujan, MSRS, RT(R), (CT), is a working computed tomography (CT) supervisor with 11 years of experience in vascular access and imaging. Throughout her career, she has placed and worked with a variety of vascular access devices, including peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs), midlines, AccuCath intravascular catheters, and peripheral intravenous catheters, giving her a unique perspective on both the imaging and vascular access sides of patient care. As a working supervisor, Ms Lujan remains actively involved in patient care, contrast administration, and CT protocol requirements while also leading and educating her team. Her experience has made her passionate about bridging the gap between nursing and radiology and ensuring patients have the right access for safe diagnostic imaging.

Angela Underhill, BSN, RN, CRNI®, CRN, has 31 years of nursing experience, including several years in infusion nursing and most of the past 17 years in medical imaging at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee. She currently serves as Medical Imaging Nurse Manager, overseeing nursing in interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, stress testing, and focused ultrasound surgery (FUS)/ExAblate®. Ms Underhill is a member of the Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing (ARIN) Board of Directors and serves as Education Committee Chair. Her infusion background and imaging leadership bring a practical perspective to the intersection of these specialties, including vascular access, contrast administration, vessel preservation, and communication across departments.
